Every release, newest first. Folio updates itself — or choose Check for Updates… in the Folio menu.
Folio 1.2.0 Latest
NewMake Searchable — Folio reads the words in scanned pages (on your Mac, with Apple’s Vision) and adds invisible text, so you can search, select and copy them. The page looks exactly the same.
NewAnnotate — highlight and strike out text, add notes, typed text, boxes, ovals and arrows. They’re saved as real annotations you can edit later in Preview or Acrobat.
NewFill Form — type into a PDF form’s fields, tick its boxes and pick its choices, then save a filled copy or lock the answers in.
NewDrop a PDF and Folio suggests the tools that fit it, with the reason (“Page 3 is a scan”). Drop several and it offers to merge, compress or make them all searchable at once.
NewDrop a whole folder on a tool to work through every PDF inside it.
NewA sample PDF to try every tool on — from the welcome tour, the contents page or the Help menu.
ImprovedCompress shows the likely size at every level before you save, then the before and after as bars, with each file’s numbers in a batch. Files that are already compact are skipped quietly.
ImprovedUndo and Redo (⌘Z, ⇧⌘Z) in the Edit menu for page changes, marks and form answers — even Start Over can be undone.
ImprovedThe contents page has a new Mark Up chapter, and the new tools have shortcuts: ⌥⌘A, ⌥⌘F and ⌥⌘R.
Folio 1.1.0
NewThe proofreader's desk with a contents-page index of every PDF tool.
ImprovedArrange, compress, sign, watermark, split, merge, lock and unlock.
